Ashlee Simpson-Wentz looked radiant as she openly displayed her ever-enlarging baby bump during a shopping excursion this past weekend. But it seems the mom-to-be isn't the only one who's being so forthcoming.

Hubby Pete Wentz reveals in the new issue of Out magazine that he has, in fact, puckered up in the past with members of the same team—but points out that "when I said that I made out with dudes, there was a slight sense of sexual rebellion in that."

The Fall Out Boy frontman adds, however, that he's "always felt this relentless heterosexual drive."

All of which explains the aforementioned baby bump...and the guyliner.

Pete Wentz turns 29 today, but you might want to skip the presents. As the rocker told E!’s Jason Kennedy, he's not a fan of marking the occasion.

"The truth is, I hate my birthday. I don't like it at all. It's because I realized I'm bad at receiving presents," says the Fall Out Boy bass man.

“I’m really bad at receiving presents, so I get really nervous around my birthday and I really don't want people to give me presents.”

Though he makes an exception for his wife, Ashlee.

Now that newlywed Ashlee Simpson-Wentz has officially announced she is indeed with child, the inquiries regarding her pregnancy will no doubt be relentless, as evidenced in this clip of the mom-to-be heading out of an L.A. marketplace Thursday.

"It feels great," she responded to questions lobbed about her and Pete Wentz's upcoming addition.

The constant coverage will surely be accompanied by never-ending remarks about her, say it with us...baby bump! And will most likely conclude with a multimillion dollar deal with some major publication for those "exciting" first shots of her bundle of joy wearing, what else, a little hoodie.

We can hardly contain ourselves.

One of the noisier cats in recent memory has finally been let out of the bag.

In a statement on their favorite news-spreading site, FriendsOrEnemies.com, Ashlee and Pete Wentz have confirmed that they are indeed expecting their first child together.

"While many have speculated about this, we wanted to wait until after the first trimester to officially confirm that we are expecting our first child," the newlyweds wrote. "This is truly the most joyous time in our lives and we are excited to share the happy news and start our family."

As recently as last week, Wentz was still playing coy with interviewer Ryan Seacrest about his papa-to-be status, telling the KIIS-FM host he didn't know why certain media outlets were so quick to report his bride was with child, considering there had been no real confirmation.

But the lack of an official press release never stopped the chatter.

A source close to the duo told E! News last month, right after the couple announced their engagement, that Simpson was in the "very early" stages of her pregnancy.

Forget that baby bump, Ashlee Simpson has another new appendage.

The 23-year-old newlywed has confirmed she's taken her rocker hubby's name and become Ashlee Wentz.

Pete Wentz said during an interview on Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-FM show last week he wasn't sure what Ashlee's stage name would be—"that's all up to her"—but "legally, she's a Wentz."

According to the popster, professionally she'll go by Ashlee Simpson-Wentz.

"I think that that's something that a woman should do when they're marrying a man," she told People today. "It's a tradition that I think is a great tradition."

Wentz and Wentz, née Simpson, tied the knot May 17 in front of more than 100 of their nearest and dearest at the Encino, Calif., home of the bride's parents, Joe and Tina Simpson.

The mostly black-clad guests were treated to an Alice in Wonderland theme, replete with parting-gift cookies frosted with the words "Eat Me."

Some people can't leave a Memorial Day barbecue without leftovers, and Ashlee Simpson is no exception.

The recent honeymooner departed a bash Monday toting her own plate of yummy goodness. (Less fair-minded people would call this masked man a doggy bag, but we are feeling generous after the holiday weekend.)

Judging from her smile, Ash is only too pleased at new hubby Pete's paparazzi prank.

And we are too. A star with a sense of humor is simply dishy.

And the award for best hidden honeymoon goes to Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz.

Despite the obsessive media coverage of their nuptials last weekend—really, even the rented shrubs got their 15 minutes of fame—the newlyweds managed to sneak away to the Caribbean completely unnoticed until their return to the States last night.

As they made their way out of a New York City cab, Pete said, "the wedding was great, honeymoon was super great," with Ashlee adding it was all just "fantastic."

Such stealthy maneuvering on their part not only allowed them to enjoy some private time sans the prying paparazzi, but it also means the world bought Pete's diversionary call to Ryan Seacrest earlier this week, when the singer told him that he and his bride were camped out in the basement eating DiGiorno's.

Heck, it didn't sound appealing to us, but seemed right in line with what a couple of eccentric rockers might do.
